Living Math: Sorting Money

We have been sorting by color, shape, size, and other characteristics. Today, I spilled the kid's money jar out on the table. I told them that if they could sort out all of the quarters, they could buy themselves some fast food and we would take it to the park for a picnic. Both kids did great at sorting by size and color.
