Art Study: Painting

I believe in that kids should have process-based art exploration. Here we are painting. Little Snail is making a "bird" and Big Snail is making an "elephant." Our favorite resources for art instruction are Let's Explore, the Crafty Crow, SouleMama (I highly recommend her book), and The Wondershop. The cabinet behind Big Snail is where we keep half of the art supplies. We also have a bookcase (out of view) with more art materials. We are finally beginning to keep them out all the time so the kids can access them whenever they want. This is a huge step for us because Little Snail has just stopped drawing on the walls.

Before you take my images, you'd better ask me first. I request that if, and when, you use my information and pictures, you provide proper credit and citation. A link back to my blog is nice, too. I love to give permission to really nice people. In fact, I have never said no. If you steal anything from my site, I get to be mean to you. Really mean. And I am smart enough to catch you being sneaky, too.
